My dad is a very great man.  He is my father, my coach, Mr. Fix-It, and a role model to me.  Whenever I have a problem, I know that I can turn to him and he'll always help me out (especially when it comes to handling my computer).

From bandaging my cuts to pulling out loose teeth (which he did even though he hated it and it grossed him out), my dad has been my hero.

He was even my coach for softball and soccer for countless times as well as being the coach for my brothers and sister in the same sports plus baseball and basketball.  I don't know how he juggled such a busy schedule.

He always works his hardest to make our family happy.  He is dedicated and courageous, and I love him.

Lives:  Royal Palm Beach, FL

Work:  Assistant Marketing Coordinator for Gee & Jenson Engineers Architects Planners, Inc.

My mom is also my hero.  She's taught me so much about life and has made me the person that I am today.

I look up to my mom and love her so much because she is a very caring, patient, and forgiving person.  She has passed on these qualities to me and I am very grateful for that.

My mom has always been my homework helper and my cooking guide too.  Because of her believing in me, I have accomplished so much academically, including making the Dean's List.  She is also the one that taught me how to cook (thanks for the winning chili recipe), and although I'm not as great as she is, I hope to be that good one day.

I couldn't ask for a better sister.  Erin is one of the smartest, yet strangest people that I know, and I love everything about her.  She is very creative and artistic and it's always great to be around her.

My sister has been my roommate, my babysitter, and my best friend.  We know many secrets about each other, but keep none away from each other.

We are both very unique people, and I have to thank her a lot for making me the way I am.  From dancing to "Kokomo", to laughing uncontrollably because we figured out we had the same laugh, to the time I accidentally poked her in the eye with a stick (I'm sorry!), I'll never forget all of the special memories that I've made with her.

Joel Patrick Adamson

Born:  May 15, 1980 in West Palm Beach, Florida

Lives:  Gainesville, FL

School:  Two years at the University of Florida and plans to return in the fall

Joel, Joel, Joel.... he's a very interesting person too.  Joel is very spontaneous and exciting although he sometimes attracts trouble, but that's part of the fun of being around him.  He's very easy to get along with.

If I had to describe him in only two words, I'd have to say that Joel is goofy and loving.. two very different words, but Joel is a very different person.  He's quite the comedian and he always knows how to make me laugh (especially if it's to get himself out of trouble right after he's made me mad).

One of my greatest memories of Joel is from the first time we saw snow.  It was Christmas of 1997 and we were in Wisconsin.  When the first snowflakes started to fall, I became so excited and I ran over to Joel and gave him a big hug.  He gave me a big hug back instead of pushing me away.  Later that day we tried to build 6 inch snowmen by scraping up the tiny bit of snow that had fallen on the driveway.  They were mostly made of dirt, but I had fun making them, and I'll never forget any of that day.

Lives:  Orlando, FL

School:  Currently attending the University of Central Florida, majoring in Advertising

This is me.  I am a very unique person too.  I love how I've turned out, and I have my entire family to thank for shaping me into the way I am.

I'm a really fun, creative, and caring person.  I love adventure and being spontaneous.  I've already flown a small airplane and been para-sailing, and someday I'd like to go skydiving.

I've been very blessed to have such a loving family.  I have too many great memories and inside jokes to even begin to tell everyone else about, but I hope that you can realize that my family is the greatest thing in the world to me.  I love them all very much!

Even though Paul is now taller than I am, he's still my little brother.  I've become a lot closer to Paul in the past few years probably because we were the only kids left in the house and we went to the same high school too.

Paul is a very great person.  He's very smart and athletic and he's become quite a cute kid too.

We've always managed to make everything fun when we're together.  From the time we played "dead body" and we tried to pick each other up while the other person "played dead" in a sleeping bag, to the many times when he was really little that I would make him stop crying by reminding him of "balloon stitches" (it was a warped balloon, but hey, it got him to laugh).  I love Paul very much and I hope that stays the way he is forever.

For me, home is where ever my family is.  Although I lived in the same house for my whole life before I moved to college, I still believe that I would feel "at home" anywhere as long as I was with my family.

Compared to many of my friends, I have a large family.  There are six people in my family... Pat, Debi, Erin, Joel, Bree, and Paul.  We're all the same in many ways, but in other ways we're completely unique.  I love each person as much as I possibly can and I'm so happy to have them in my life.  They've helped to shape me into the person that I am today.

I don't need to be in a specific city or house to feel like I'm at home.  All of the fun times, hard times, and hilarious times are kept in the memories of each member of my family.  As long as we can get together to talk and reminisce, whether it's in person, online, or on the phone, I will always feel comfortably at home.
